Bill was a teen on the fast track to destruction until the day he crossed paths with a policeman’s bullet. That blast blew him off his chosen track and onto a new one–an incredible one designed by God!  God’s chosen track led Bill to gold-medal wins as a rugby player, followed by marriage, fatherhood, and a successful career!

A Chosen Bullet workbook guides you along Bill’s path from tragedy to triumph. With discussion questions and biblical wisdom, he challenges you to consider your own choices.
Follow Bill’s surprising journey for just six weeks and discover what could happen when you:

  • Aim at the wrong target
  • Choose a different mark
  • Hit the bull’s-eye
  • Shoot for the stars
  • Aim for God’s best for your life

Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Bill was shot in the neck and permanently paralyzed as a seventeen-year-old in 1989. From there, he set out on a path of endurance and perseverance. He earned a BA and MS in journalism from the University of Illinois. He was a three-time member of Team USA wheelchair rugby, winning gold in the 1996 Atlanta Paralympics, the 1998 World Championships in Toronto, and the 2000 Sydney Paralympics. Since 2002, Bill has been an award-winning commercial real estate broker in the Tampa Bay area. With Amy, his lovely wife since 2001, and their three children, Bill lives in Wesley Chapel, Florida. He and Amy have been actively-involved members of Idlewild Baptist Church for over a decade.
