The Southern Writer’s Festival in Alabama was held by Barnes and Noble on Saturday, April 17th and featured author Laken Lovely and her book, Through Charlie’s Eyes. The festival welcomed several of the areas well-known authors and allowed them a forum to discuss their stories with one another as well as with their readers.

Ambassador International is finalizing the details of a big event for author Paulette George. Paulette will be holding events in May at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital to promote her new book Good Morning Beautiful. The goal of the book is to help families with children suffering from seizures.
Ambassador International is excited to announce the launch of Maybe Someday, new fiction from author Ede Clarkes. Clarkes, a resident of China, returned to the states to promote her Gottago.cc and her book with signings in Coos Bay, Oregon; San Jose, California; Missoula, Montana; and Birmingham, Alabama. Each event had great attendance and Barnes and Noble even opened up speaking opportunities at their stores.
Author Laken Lovely set to appear in Birmingham, Alabama with Books-A-Million and also in Lexington, Kentucky with Joseph Beth Booksellers. She is promoting her book Through Charlie’s Eyes.
Residents near Texas should keep an eye out for author Raymond Burroughs, promoting his book God Smiles for Me. He has already had signing events with Sonday in Lake Jackson, an article in the Facts paper, a Barnes and Noble Houston event. He also has several speaking engagements lined up with churches and study groups.
On the heels of a multi-city Iowa book launch tour, Ambassador author Mimi Keener signed copies of her new book, The Best of Friends, at two Greenville events this past weekend. The first event was held Friday night at the Barnes and Noble on Woodruff Road. Mimi sold dozens of copies of her book, a children’s book about growing up on an Iowa farm. At the second event Mimi joined other Greenville-based authors on Saturday for a book signing at the Barnes and Noble store on Haywood Road in Greenville.
