About the Author: Stephen Goode serves as Director of Biblical Counseling and Senior Adult Ministries at Northside Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from Trinity Bible College and Theological Seminary with a B.A. in Biblical Counseling. He served 11 years in North Carolina as a sworn police officer giving him extensive experience working closely with families in crisis. Stephen and his wife April have been married for 17 years and they have two children.
